This photograph really tells an intriguing story. The stark setting and stark subject matter are well paired. I like the lines of tine, the footprints of some small creature stepping through aligned to the spine. The lighting also throws the bones into strong relief -- symbolic of the ending of life. I feel that the way that the image is framed in the photograph is perfectly balanced. I feel that it is a privilege to have this snapshot of the cycles of life and death in the sea (presuming it's a sea-creature whose bones these are). What is the story of the life and death of this creature? How much has time and tide worked on these bones prior to this very moment? Thank you for sharing.
